NECTAR FESTIVAL returns to host you for five days of stellar music, inspired art, and meaningful connection as we celebrate the Summer Solstice in the best ways we know.
NECTAR FESTIVAL is a curated experience showcasing the juiciest electronic music from across our rich region alongside select international artists. Our immersive gathering unfolds within a temporary village featuring three music stages, an art gallery, workshops, performances, tea lounge, spa sanctuary, artisan & food vendors, breathtaking views, stunning nature, and, most importantly, all of us together.
We return to our beautiful venue on enchanted Salt Spring Island with greatly expanded camping and parking areas, while maintaining limited capacity to ensure the experience remains both epic and intimate.

THE NIGHT GARDEN
Our Tech-House & Techno program on Friday night at the Nectar Stage begins in golden hour and deepens into the night. The NIGHT GARDEN brings together a special evening of queer and femme DJs guiding the dancefloor through a magnetic and immersive journey from sunset to sunrise.

ABSTRAKT SONANCE & THE NECTAR ORCHESTRA
Something truly special is being created for Nectar 2026. We are honoured to premiere Abstrakt Sonance & The Nectar Orchestra — an original multimedia performance bringing together an original electronic score with live instrumentation, vocals, visuals, and choreography in an immersive journey of transformation, resilience, and renewal.

NECTAR & SOLSTICE STAGES
Our two main stages—the Nectar and Solstice Stages—host the festival's primary dancefloors. From our origins as a soundcamp at Otherworld, we continue to evolve these immersive sonic environments. With Nectar Stage powered by Sacred Roots' custom Paraflex system and Solstice Stage driven by Sigma-1’s Funktion-Ones, you know the vibe is getting high and the dancefloor’s getting lit!
THE NECTAR VILLAGE
Nectar Village is the heart of the festival by day, offering a variety of experiences—from the Arkhē Gallery’s curated visual art, music performances and artist panels; to The Cove Tea Temple & Spa Sanctuary, an intimate place to connect and rejuvenate; outdoor & indoor Workshops to inspire body and mind; Artisan Marketplace filled with clothing, crafts and treasures; and our new Nectar Cafe area serving nourishing food & drink with spectacular views.
THE SUMMER SOLSTICE
The Summer Solstice marks the longest day of the year and the official beginning of Summer. As we shed the final vestiges of Winter and embrace the peak of light, we invite you to honour this auspicious moment through a compelling interactive Ritual Theatre performance exploring transformation and collective awakening.
REVEL IN AN ENCHANTED SETTING
Escape to magical Salt Spring Island, the largest of the Southern Gulf islands in B.C., where we'll be celebrating on Mt. Tuam, on a 67-acre private venue 400 metres above sea level with epic views overlooking Cowichan Bay. Featuring the magical bloom of Foxgloves during Nectar, our beautiful venue includes mossy knolls, Douglas Fir, Arbutus, Cedar, Alder, and Maple trees, as well as many diverse grasses and creatures.
THE VENUE, including Camping & Parking, has been greatly expanded while maintaining the intimate atmosphere that makes Nectar special.
CO-CREATIVE FESTIVAL CULTURE
More than one in five people at Nectar are active co-creators of the festival—as artists, presenters, production team, or volunteers. We believe in the power of Co-creative Festivals to foster positivity, connection, and community. Nectar Festival is more than an event; it is an intentional gathering rooted in participation, expression, and shared experience. We encourage personal growth, healthy living, authentic relating, and meaningful moments. Together, we care for ourselves, each other, and the land that hosts us—creating a vibrant sanctuary of positive community in a fragmented and divided world.
