Michael Red
Michael Red is a Vancouver-based music producer, film composer, collaborator, performer and DJ with always a few handfuls of projects on the go. He is an active curator and event producer as well, and works with local underground music/creative community in a number of ways. Michael is recognized as playing a critical role in shaping foundational sound system and underground electronic music culture in Western Canada, as both an event creator and DJ. Some of his projects include Low Indigo (events, label, community), Oro Azul (with Ultima Esuna), a very active collaboration with Tsimka, and Light Blues (sound wellness based mixs, releases and live sessions).
