The Silk Road
Explore the world with Yelda and Biplov – an Afghan and Nepalese DJ duo sharing global beats on the dance floor. Together they ignite a vision of global connection inspired by the true-life historic Silk Road. Their musical diversity of light and dark energy combines forces and creates the magic of The Silk Road - a journey that showcases instruments and languages from across the world in an effort to spark cultural curiosity and inclusivity.
TSR has been thrilled to play support for incredible Artists such as DJ Habibeats, Beats Antique, Yung Singh, Handsome Tiger, Attya, Moontricks, Morillo, Papadosio, Random Rab, Desert Dwellers, and Etran de L’Aïr. Notable festivals include Shambhala, Bass Coast, Future Forest, Global Heat and APOG.
Their movement has already taken Seattle by storm, embodied in the creation of CARAVAN – an open format, monthly world music event showcasing both novice and veteran Artists. It is now celebrating over three years of events at Kremwerk Complex and successful showcases at APOG Festival, Panacea and Kremfest.
Now they’re gearing up for the next phase of their mission - developing and producing new tracks to share with the world. They debuted with their original “Rangeela” on Midnight Munchies & officially released their first EP “Ey Sune” in February 2026. Whether at a music festival, local venues or on the air, TSR seeks to bring people together by celebrating what makes them culturally unique and inviting them to join the Shawlgang.
