SUN ROSE is the alias of Samuel Barnes, aka SAMU, an NYC-bred, Costa Rica and Salt Spring Island-based DJ and producer of a radical, inimitable house sound that ranges across global, tribal, afro, organic and soulful sounds.

In his very first year behind the decks, SUN ROSE sets have been met with huge reception at Burning Man, BC's Otherworld, NYC's Kostume Kult Halloween, CDMX's Ancient Future, Costa Rica's Envision Festival, and countless house parties and ecstatic dances across all of those locales and more.
