The artistic ethos at the core of atebaki is to make bodies flow and spirits wander. As an artist, he is obsessed with the feelings that arise from the passage of time, the cycles of death and rebirth and the sorrow of being finite; in his music, this translates into a deep journey blending melancholy, serenity, romance, solace and abysmal levity. His sets evolve slowly; through them he serenades his listeners into the spirit world and keeps them simmering in the infinite feels.

Vancouver-based producer atebaki was born in Argentina and raised in Montreal. He started out his producer journey from a multidisciplinary background; writing poetry, playing multiple instruments and practicing different circus disciplines. His creative universe encompasses multiple art forms that are all dancing around the same ethos: to make bodies flow and spirits wander.
In order to avoid trapping the audience in a singular emotion, atebaki carefully crafts each set to be constantly evolving, exploring a plethora of moods and keeping the flow steady.
With releases on Gravitas Recordings, Subciety Presents, Cimmerian Records and UnderGround Sound, atebaki has been pushing the boundaries of the downtempo side of bass music. His search for a deeper connection with his community led him to organize inner space: a downtempo night focused on deep bass, immersive art installations and live performances.
